Brief Description

Pulaski Technical College is a two-year institution situated in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It is located across the Arkansas River in the central portion of the state of Arkansas. The population of the town is just under 65,000, and it is a great area of the state to reside. Students who attend Pulaski Technical College receive a quality education.

Pulaski Technical College was established in 1945 as the Little Rock Vocational School. In late 1969, the school was named the Pulaski Vocational Technical School, and in the 1970s, the institution was moved to its current location. In 1991, the school became a technical college. The institution contains over 70 Associate of Applied Science or Technical Certification programs in business, information technology, healthcare, culinary arts, education and more. The enrollment of the college is just over 10,000, and many of the students go on to complete their bachelor's degree at a four-year college. It is the largest two-year institution in Arkansas. The tuition is $90 per semester hour, and campus housing is not provided. The facilities at the institution are modern and up-to-date, and the college offers small class sizes.

Admission Requirements

To be accepted into the college, you must complete an application before the deadline expires. You are required to submit a copy of your ACT score or your COMPASS placement score. An official high school transcript must be on file, and you need to prove that you have had the proper immunizations. You must also complete the new student orientation for first-time college students. You can check your admission and financial aid status online.

Financial Aid

Before you can apply for financial aid, you must go online to fill out a FAFSA form. Loans and grants are available from the college. The college contains a financial aid office, and after you complete your FAFSA form, your information will be sent directly to the college. You will then receive an email instructing you as to how to proceed. You will not know what type of aid you qualify for until you apply.
