Bryant and Stratton College is a higher education institution that is designed for helping students achieve successful career development. With roots going back all the way to 1854, Bryant and Stratton was initially established to provide practical workplace education in a business setting in Buffalo, New York. Within a decade, the founders John Collins Bryant and Henry Dwight Stratton expanded the outreach until there were as many as 50 schools in the four large states in the Northeast region. One of which was developed into the Bryant and Stratton College campus in Syracuse today. Even though it began as a business institute, the school is now accredited for granting two-year Associate of Occupational Studies and Associate of Applied Science degrees by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, as well as the New York State Board of Regents.
At the Syracuse Campus, students can choose from a range of different degree programs that all prepare for respectable careers in their fields. Accounting, business, criminal justice, financial support services, hospitality management, human resources specialist, medical administrative assistant, medical assisting, network technology, office information technology are all associate degree choices offered at this site. Students can also enroll in the notable health services administration program, which is the only of its kind that awards a bachelor's degree upon completion.
