High school basketball and the Indianapolis 500 are the two main sports events in the state. During basketball season, the residents of Indiana spend much of their free time watching a high school basketball game. The Indianapolis 500 is the most prestigious event in car racing. The event takes place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and more than 250,000 people attend the spectacle. The racetrack is incredible.

Other attractions in the state include the Allen Country War Memorial Coliseum, Trump Casino and Indiana Dunes State Park. The College Football Hall of Fame is also located in the state.
