Eight unique campuses are included within Chattahoochee Technical College. The college is located in north Georgia, northwest of Atlanta. All college campuses are in suburban settings. They are close to all the energy, action and excitement of the neighboring and cosmopolitan city of Atlanta.
Chattahoochee Technical College was founded in 1963 and is named for the nearby Chattahoochee River. It is a two-year state college. The most prominent academic emphasis is on health care, technology programs and television production education.

Chattahoochee Community College Received Support From Prominent Atlanta Citizen
The family of the late Frank Gordy, former owner of one of Atlanta's landmark restaurants called The Varsity, donated the land where Mountain View campus of Chattahoochee Technical College now sits. The land was donated to Cobb County, Georgia, for the purpose of housing this extension of the college.
