Brief Description

Bryant and Stratton College is a higher education institution that is designed for helping students achieve successful career development. Although there are a number of colleges included in the multi-state school system, the Bryant and Stratton Main Syracuse campus offers some unique characteristics. Located in the heart of New York State, Syracuse is a medium sized city that is well-known for its many area colleges and universities that make it a hub for education. Bryant and Stratton is situated conveniently on James Street, which is within miles of downtown Syracuse and all the business resources it has to offer students.

With roots going back all the way to 1854, Bryant and Stratton was initially established to provide practical workplace education in a business setting in Buffalo, New York. Within a decade, the founders John Collins Bryant and Henry Dwight Stratton expanded the outreach until there were as many as 50 schools in the four large states in the Northeast region. One of which was developed into the Bryant and Stratton College campus in Syracuse today. Even though it began as a business institute, the school is now accredited for granting two-year Associate of Occupational Studies and Associate of Applied Science degrees by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, as well as the New York State Board of Regents.

At the Syracuse Campus, students can choose from a range of different degree programs that all prepare for respectable careers in their fields. Accounting, business, criminal justice, financial support services, hospitality management, human resources specialist, medical administrative assistant, medical assisting, network technology, office information technology are all associate degree choices offered at this site. Students can also enroll in the notable health services administration program, which is the only of its kind that awards a bachelor's degree upon completion.

One of the most beneficial features of an education at Bryant and Stratton is the flexible class schedules. The school understands how busy life can get for students, so classes can be easily customized to fit. Classes are offered days, evenings, weekend, and even online for whenever is most convenient to satisfy all students' needs. Bryant and Stratton also encourages student involvement in sports. The school hosts NCJAA soccer and cross country teams, nicknamed the Bobcats, for both men and women on campus. Unlike most other Bryant and Stratton Colleges, the Syracuse campus offers students the capability of on-campus living in the residence halls.
