Cerritos College

Cerritos College, located in Norwalk, CA is committed to seeing students succeed in and out of the classroom. Founded in 1955, the 135-acre campus is home to over 22,000 students seeking Associate degrees in many fields. Accredited by a number of organizations including the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the American Dental Association and National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation the college strives to offer its students the latest training in a number of high-demand fields. Speaking of playing fields, athletics is a big part of the Cerritos experience. Offering a variety of men's and women's sports for its students, the Falcons have had much success over the years. Former football player Fou Fonoti is preparing for his senior season at Big Ten powerhouse Michigan State, while David Moala has been named a pre-season All-American on the gridiron. The highlight of the school's athletic department at the moment is its preparing to host a night of MMA fights as a fundraiser for the wrestling team. Expectations are high, with 15 fights on the card, including three championship bouts. Cerritos College alumna Mario Delgado will be one of the featured competitors on September 7 at the school's newly-renovated gymnasium.
